It's Not Just Business, It's Personal.
Protect your RV, boat, or recreational vehicles with our extra-tall metal covers. Free delivery and installation in Micanopy, Alachua County.
Micanopy is Florida's oldest continuously inhabited inland town, settled in 1821–22, and the entire town — not just a section of it — is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It sits immediately adjacent to the 21,000-acre Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, home to wild bison and feral horses, and is known locally as an antique-shop destination with a small, tightly preserved downtown.
Because the whole town is a historic district, in-town Micanopy lots face more appearance and placement scrutiny than almost anywhere else we serve — our approach here leans toward discreet siting toward the rear or edge of a property rather than a prominent street-facing placement. Just outside the historic core, toward Paynes Prairie or out toward McIntosh and Orange Lake, properties are rural and much more flexible, often agricultural or acreage-based. We plan every Micanopy job around which side of that line a property falls on.
